Meet Our Pharmacists
Ed Christofano, R.Ph.
President / CEO
Ed received his degree in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University, College of Pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio. His career started as a pharmacy manager and quickly grew into other management roles with corporate pharmacies. Changing from the corporate atmosphere, he became an independent owner and operator of Hayden’s Pharmacy. Currently with THREE locations serving the Youngwood, Greensburg, and newly opened Mount Pleasant area, he feels that Hayden’s Pharmacy offers more to patients than other pharmacy chains.
In addition his pharmacist role, Ed also provides presentations for many area groups to educate local residents about health care, medications, and insurance programs. Hayden’s Pharmacy provides 5-7 presentations each month to local organizations, community groups, or churches.
Megan Giancola, PharmD.
Roberta Wisz, R.Ph.
Roberta received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Roberta brings her retail pharmacist experience from major retail markets, independent pharmacies, and was an independent pharmacy owner before joining the Hayden’s Pharmacy company. She is well established with many professional relationships with local physicians and caregivers in the community. Roberta takes great pride in getting to know patients on a personal level to provide excellent pharmaceutical care.
Rowena Shott, R.Ph.
Rowena received her Bachelor of Science degrees in Math and Pharmacy from West Virginia University. She began her career in Parkersburg, WV working in an independent pharmacy servicing nursing homes all over the state. She has lived in Pennsylvania for the last 20 years, and has worked in chain retail pharmacies for the last 15 years. In the last 5 years, she has worked for independent pharmacies in the Mt Pleasant area. She has been active with local children’s groups teaching drug safety and poison prevention. She lives in the Mt. Pleasant/Greensburg area with her husband 2 daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading and traveling.
